986506 Rapido OO9 Kerr, Stuart & Co. Long-Tank Sirdar Class in Lined Maroon, DCC Fitted. This model is fitted with a movement only DCC decoder, it is not fitted with sound.

The Kerr, Stuart & Co. Sirdar class of locomotive was a small 0-4-0 side tank steam locomotive produced in the late 1800's/early 1900's. 58 were constructed for both export and use within the UK, with two joining the South African Narrow Gauge Railways as 'NG1' Class locomotives. One, 'Diana', is in steam at the Amerton Railway.

The Rapido model of the Sirdar class features a 6 pin DCC decoder socket, smooth and powerful mechanism and NEM coupling pockets. The model is supplied with a large bag of accessory parts that can be used to customise your model as required. It is suitable for operation on 1st radius curves (228mm or greater).

Here at Derails we have pretty simple postage policy: if your order is over £20, you are eligible for FREE UK 'Regular' 2-4 day shipping. If your order is under £20, you are eligible for our super-cheap £2.99 Regular 2-4 day shipping. 

What if I need this item really quickly?

At the checkout choose one of our shipping option upgrades, either 'Express' Tracked 24 at £1.99 or 'Special Delivery' Next Day at £4.99. The upgraded postage options also jump the long despatch queue too, so they are shipped at the earliest possible opportunity. Please note that 'Express' and 'Special' upgrades are not available for orders with a total value under £20.
