Some models are marked as "(DEMIC STOCK)", this means we have discovered a fault during testing and a description of that fault is provided where applicable.

Please note that ALL items in this sale have been unboxed, tested and run on our shop test track. ALL items have slight box imperfections, be it small dents, scratches, marks or tears caused by storage here. If you like perfect, unboxed models in perfect, pristine boxes, sadly this sale is probably not best for you - our apologies.

TECHNICAL NOTE: Heljan Class 17's are known for being fairly slow runners, but they do speed up as they warm up. This slow running is often accompanied by a medium volume (but not excessive) whirring noise from the motor. The models on offer today have all passed testing, but we are asking customers to tick the box as they add them to their cart to acknowledge that they are aware of these two technical attributes.

This model is DCC ready and is ready to be fitted with a DCC decoder. We have a full range of DCC chips (including chips compatible with this locomotive) available here. Here at Derails we have pretty simple postage policy: if your order is over £20, you are eligible for FREE UK 'Regular' 2-4 day shipping. If your order is under £20, you are eligible for our super-cheap £2.99 Regular 2-4 day shipping. 

What if I need this item really quickly?

At the checkout choose one of our shipping option upgrades, either 'Express' Tracked 24 at £1.99 or 'Special Delivery' Next Day at £4.99. The upgraded postage options also jump the long despatch queue too, so they are shipped at the earliest possible opportunity. Please note that 'Express' and 'Special' upgrades are not available for orders with a total value under £20.
